The Symbolism Behind the Atypica Logo

When we were designing the identity for Atypica, choosing the dragonfly naturally stood out as the obvious choice. Light, vibrant, and fascinating, it is so much more than a simple visual element: it is the perfect bridge connecting nature, transformation, and the guidance we offer you.

Symbolism Rooted in Metamorphosis and Adaptation

In traditions around the world, the dragonfly embodies profound transformation, adaptability, and emotional maturity. It spends a large part of its life hidden under water before spreading its wings to take flight into the sky.

This journey echoes our vision of naturopathy: a return to your roots, a clearing of overloads, and the emergence of your own self-healing powers. Just as the dragonfly gracefully adapts to air currents, naturopathy helps you restore your natural balance, energy, and vitality—always respecting your unique biological rhythm.

Neurodivergence: The Beauty of Atypical Functioning

The dragonfly's movements are like no other creature's. It can fly in every direction, hover in mid-air, reverse its path in a fraction of a second, and perceive the world through eyes made of thousands of facets.

This unique way of interacting with its environment perfectly reflects neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, high intellectual potential, dys- conditions, high sensitivity, etc.). Being neuroatypical means perceiving reality from different angles, feeling with a unique intensity, and functioning according to dynamics that are entirely your own. At the Atypica practice, we do not try to normalize these specificities; instead, we seek to understand your unique way of functioning to offer tailored naturopathic support that respects your nervous system and your sensitivity.

Our 6-Winged Dragonfly: In Praise of Being Different

If you look closely at our logo, you will notice a unique detail: our dragonfly has 6 wings instead of 4.

This is not a mistake; it is a choice from the heart. To fully embody Atypica, our totem needed to carry its own singularity. This extra pair of wings is a symbol of atypicality in all its forms. It serves as a reminder that:

  • Stepping outside the standard box is not an anomaly—it is a wealth of potential.

  • Difference provides an extra power of flight, a new perspective, and a remarkable presence.

  • At Atypica, every atypical profile finds its place, understanding, and flight.

Whether you are seeking overall naturopathic support or guidance tailored to your neuroatypicality, our dragonfly is here to remind you that your difference is your greatest potential.
